QRIS at Acgwin

QRIS is Indonesia's national QR payment standard and, in the Acgwin cashier, the rail with the lowest entry threshold of the seven: IDR 15,000, ten thousand rupiah below the DANA and OVO wallets. It is an Indonesian rail, so it is available only inside Indonesia. In every measurement we ran, the balance moved in under three minutes.

Why the threshold sits this low

Handling one QRIS payment costs less than pulling money out of a closed wallet, and that is the whole reason the cashier accepts IDR 15,000 here. If you want to test the platform before committing to anything, this is the cheapest door available. One caveat is worth stating: the qualifying deposit for the welcome offer is IDR 25,000, so a IDR 15,000 top-up lands in full but attracts no bonus and leaves your balance free of the 12x wagering requirement that comes with one.

Four steps to a scan

  1. Choose QRIS in the cashier and enter an amount of at least IDR 15,000.
  2. A dynamic code appears. Its life is short, so scan it now rather than saving it.
  3. Pay from your banking or wallet app for exactly the amount displayed.
  4. Wait for the success screen, then keep the reference number until the playing balance actually moves.

The two ways a QRIS payment fails

The first is an expired code. Cashier codes are single-use and short-lived, and paying an old screenshot is the most common failure of all: generate a fresh code rather than scanning your archive. The second is an edited amount. Some apps let you change the sum before confirming, and a sum that does not match to the last digit pushes the payment into the manual matching queue, which is where the time goes. Neither failure loses money; both cost patience.

The return route: how a QRIS withdrawal is paid

QRIS is a pay-in standard, so a withdrawal is sent to a destination you nominate: an e-wallet or bank account in your own name. Our log records a median of 47 minutes for that route, an upper quartile of 1 hour 55 minutes and a single worst case of 3 hours 12 minutes on a Sunday at 21.40 WIB. The minimum withdrawal is IDR 50,000 and the cap is IDR 25,000,000 per request, with IDR 100,000,000 per 24 hours, and the first three withdrawal requests each day carry no fee. A first request waits on verification: an ID card and a selfie holding it, median review 3 working hours.

What we could not measure

This log does not cover QRIS behaviour on public holidays, does not cover single deposits above IDR 10,000,000, and did not test payer apps beyond the six most widely used in Indonesia. If your own experience differs from the figures above, that does not make them wrong: it means your sample landed in a part of the distribution we did not record. The comparative table for all seven rails is on the payments page.
